Your privacy is important to our campaign committee. We have provided this Privacy Statement as means of explaining our online information practices and the options you have in the way your information is collected and utilized when you view our web site.

We reserve the right to revise or change this policy at any time without notice. This Privacy Statement will be kept up-to-date and posted on the campaign web site.

Use of Data and Information Collected:

We collect various information from you as you interact with this site.

Personal Information

The State Board of Elections requires us to collect certain information from every donor who gives money to us. For these reasons, we collect some information that can be directly associated with a specific person. We call this "Personal Information," and it includes, by way of illustration, names, addresses, telephone numbers and e-mail addresses.

We collect Personal Information from donors and other eligible individuals who affirmatively request to receive e-mail or other services from us. We collect this Personal Information in order to provide these eligible individuals with timely information via e-mail regarding political events, resources and issues. We also collect Personal Information from those who make online contributions to the campaign, in order to process and report the contributions.

We collect Personal Information from volunteers who sign up with us. We collect this Personal Information to coordinate volunteer efforts and activities.

We collect Personal Information from individuals asking to be contacted or submitting messages to us. We collect this Personal Information to respond to requests or communicate with constituents and concerned citizens.

It is our general policy not to make Personal Information available to anyone other than our employees, staff, and agents. We may also make personal information available to organizations with similar political viewpoints and objectives, in furtherance of our own political objectives.

Public Information:

We treat your name, city, state, and any comments as public information. We may, for example, provide compilations of petitions, with your comments, to state and local leaders, without disclosing email addresses. We may also make comments along with your city and state available to the press and public online.

Browser Information:

We collects IP addresses from all site visitors. IP addresses are collected automatically from your computer and are not linked to personally identifiable information but provide aggregate data. Also collected are any personal information provided by you when you register at this site. This includes information required when making a contribution, signing up as a volunteer, subscribing to a newsletter or leaving a message. We use both the personal and aggregate data collected for multiple purposes. The data is used to improve the content of the web site, to customize the content and/or layout of the site for each individual user, and if requested, to provide information services by email to the user. We will never sell or disclose your personal information to an outside third party except if required to by law.

If we learn the user submitting information to our site is a child we delete that information immediately.
